Who We Are

Green Hills Academy was established in 1997 with 130 students. Today the school has grown to more than 1500 students from over 60 different countries. We are centrally located on a lush 26 acre campus in Nyarutarama, Kigali. Our school owns state-of-the-art classrooms that all have projectors, gym, band room, boarding, pool, three ICT laboratories that are designed to facilitate students in terms of research and three fully equipped laboratories where students can conduct school projects and other educational experiments.

Green Hills Academy creates principled lifelong learners equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel.

A Green Hills student is an inquisitive and knowledgeable thinker, concerned about others, about Rwanda and about the environment.

With a healthy lifestyle, the Green Hills student will give to the community with special concern for the less fortunate. Able to communicate in at least two languages, the Green Hills student is a self-starter with a global perspective. With a strong work ethic, our alumni respect themselves and others.
